Application

Ethyl formate is used as an edible flavoring agent to prepare flavors such as rum, apricots, peaches, pineapples, assorted fruits, and sherry wine. It is also used in daily fragrance synthesis and pharmaceutical production.

Storage

1). Storage Precautions Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse.
2). Keep away from fire and heat source. The storage temperature should not exceed 29℃. Keep the container sealed.
3). It should be stored separately from oxidizers and alkalis, do not mix storage.
4). Use explosion-proof type lighting and ventilation facilities.
5). Prohibit the use of spark-prone mechanical equipment and tools.
6). The storage area should be equipped with emergency response equipment for leakage and suitable sheltering materials.
