Application
Food Industry:
1). Used as a flavouring and flavour modifier to enhance the cheese or creamy taste of food.
2). Produces various butyrate salts for use as food additives, such as preservatives and acidity regulators.

Storage
1). Storage PrecautionsStore in a cool, ventilated warehouse.
2). Keep away from fire and heat source. Store at a temperature not exceeding 32°C and a relative humidity not exceeding 80%.
3). Keep the container sealed. It should be stored separately from oxidising agents, reducing agents and alkalis, and should never be mixed.
4). Equipped with appropriate varieties and quantities of fire-fighting equipment.
5). The storage area should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and suitable shelter materials.
Stability
1). Has the general chemical properties of carboxylic acids. Can produce salts, chlorides, esters, anhydrides and amides.
2). It is low toxicity and has an odour similar to that of cat's urine. It has irritating effect on skin and mucous membrane.
