Application
1). Acidulant and preservative: used to regulate acidity and extend shelf life in beverages, dairy products, pickled products, etc.
2). Fermentation auxiliary: promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the fermentation process of bread, yogurt, etc.
3). pH regulator: used for acid-base balance in medicines (e.g. eye drops, injections).
4). Disinfection and antibacterial: diluted for skin disinfection or medical equipment cleaning.
5). Dialysis fluid components: in peritoneal dialysis fluid to regulate electrolyte balance.
6). Moisturizing & Exfoliating: Used as alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) in skin care products to promote keratin renewal.
7). pH Adjustment: Maintaining a mildly acidic environment in shampoos, body washes and other products.
8). Biodegradable Plastics: Produces polylactic acid (PLA) for environmentally friendly packaging and fibers.
9). Cleaning agents: Used in descalers and metal surface treatments to remove mineral deposits.
10). Feed additives: Inhibit pathogenic bacteria and improve animal intestinal health.
11). Soil conditioner: regulates soil pH and enhances nutrient absorption.

Storage
1). Cool, dry and well ventilated, recommended temperature 15-25°C, avoid direct sunlight.
2). Corrosion-resistant materials (such as glass, stainless steel or polyethylene), avoid contact with active metals such as aluminum and iron.
3). Strictly sealed to prevent moisture absorption or evaporation and keep the concentration stable.
4). Keep away from strong oxidizing agents (e.g. peroxide, nitric acid), strong bases and high temperature sources.
Stability
1). Thermal stability: stable at room temperature, >150°C may decompose to form propylene glycol ester or oligomer.
2). Oxidation reaction: may react violently with strong oxidizing agent, release CO₂ or cause combustion.
3). pH effect: stable under acidic condition, easy to neutralize and generate lactate in strong alkali environment.
4). Hygroscopicity: hygroscopic, prolonged exposure to humid environments may result in decreased concentration or turbidity.
5). Long-term storage: slight discoloration (light yellow) may occur, but does not affect the chemical properties, regular inspection is recommended.
6). Avoid mixing and storing with reducing agents, metal powders or alkaline substances to prevent gas production or exothermic reaction.
