Application
1). Mainly used as a raw material for paints and inks, also used in the production of polyamide, polyester and polyurea products, but also as a raw material for the treatment of atherosclerosis drugs .
2). Lipid-lowering drugs for the treatment and prevention of atherosclerosis. Generally no side effects. Gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea can occur with long-term administration, and can gradually disappear with continued administration.
3). Nutritional supplements, flavour enhancers.
4). Linoleic acid is essential and fatty acids in human and animal nutrition. Animals and plants have desaturase enzyme, which can dehydrogenate saturated fatty acids to produce unsaturated fatty acids like oleic acid with a double bond, but only plant cells have the ability to further dehydrogenate oleic acid into linoleic acid.
Storage
1). Packed in stainless steel or aluminium drums.
2). Certain antioxidant VE (or tert-butyl-p-hydroxyanisole) should be added during storage.
3). Store in cool and ventilated place, avoid direct sunlight, keep away from heat source and oxidant.
4). Store and transport as general chemicals. Storage temperature 2~8ºC.
Stability
1). Easily oxidised in air.
2). Exist in baked cigarette tobacco, white ribbed tobacco, spice tobacco, and smoke.
