3). Compatibility Note: Avoid contact with strong oxidizing agents, metal salts (e.g., iron, copper ions), which may catalyze oxidation reactions; stability decreases in acidic or alkaline environments (e.g., may be hydrolyzed at pH<3 or pH>10).
4). Low hygroscopicity: pure menthol is a crystalline solid with weak hygroscopicity, but it may slowly absorb water in humid environments, leading to agglomeration, which does not affect chemical properties but may affect ease of use.
5). Strong volatility: even at room temperature, it will slowly evaporate, so the container needs to be tightly sealed and the lid tightened promptly after taking.
6). If used in industrial production, it is recommended to periodically test the menthol content (e.g. gas chromatography) to assess the degree of oxidation.
