Application
1) Gas chromatography stationary solutions, solvents, antifreeze, plasticizers and dehydrating agents.
2) Raw material of resin, plasticizer, surfactant, emulsifier and emulsion breaker, also can be used as antifreeze and heat carrier.
3) Propylene glycol is the intermediate of fungicide phenyl ether metronidazole.
Storage
1) This product should be kept sealed in a cool and dry place.
2) Keep away from fire and heat sources.
3) It can be stored in containers made of iron, soft steel, copper, tin, stainless steel or in containers coated with resin.
4) This product is combustible although it will not spontaneously combust.
5) Long-term storage does not deteriorate, but the opening is moisture absorption.
6) Storage and transport containers are preferred to be made of galvanized iron drums, aluminum or stainless steel.
7) Storage and transportation according to the general provisions of low-toxicity chemicals.
Solubility
It can be miscible with water, ethanol, ether, chloroform, acetone and other organic solvents. The solubility of hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, oils and fats is stronger than that of ethylene glycol although it is small.
