Stability
1). At standard temperature and pressure, isobutyl cinnamate exhibits stable chemical properties and is not prone to decomposition. Its flash point is 113°C. It may ignite under high temperatures (>110°C) or open flame conditions; fire precautions are required.
2). As an ester compound, it may undergo hydrolysis in strong acid or strong alkali environments, yielding cinnamic acid and isobutanol; contact with strong oxidizing agents may cause oxidative degradation.
