Application
1). Food and beverage: to give sweet and fruity aroma (such as apple, apricot, honey aroma), used in confectionery, baked goods, soft drinks and wine flavor formulations.
2). Daily chemical products: as a fixative in perfume, cosmetics, detergent, to enhance the layering and durability of floral or fruity flavors.
3). Tobacco industry: Improve the taste of tobacco flavor, add soft and sweet aroma.
4). As solvent or intermediate, used in synthesizing special flavor and fine chemicals.
Storage
1). Lightproof and sealed: store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse, away from open flame and heat source, avoid direct sunlight.
2). Temperature control: Suggested storage temperature ≤30℃, to prevent volatilization or decomposition caused by high temperature.
3). Isolated storage: store separately from oxidizing agents, strong acids and strong bases to avoid chemical reaction.
4). Use sealed glass bottles, galvanized iron drums or food-grade plastic containers to ensure the integrity of the package without leakage.
Stability
1). Stability at room temperature: under the condition of avoiding light and sealing, the stability is good in room temperature storage, and the shelf life is usually 2-3 years.
2). Prohibited substances: Avoid contact with strong oxidizing agents, strong acids and strong bases to prevent hydrolysis or oxidation reactions.
3). Heat / light sensitivity: High temperature (>60℃) or long-term exposure to light may lead to slow decomposition, release irritating odor, need to strictly control the storage environment.
4). Flammability: It is a flammable liquid and should be kept away from ignition sources, and static electricity buildup should be avoided during operation.
5). Protective measures: It is recommended to wear protective gloves and goggles when contacting, avoid inhaling vapors or contacting skin and eyes.
