Application
1). Mainly used in spice, food, beverage industry, also is the raw material of medicine, chemical industry, leather, printing and dyeing industry.
2). Antibacterial potentiator.
3). Used as experimental reagent, edible spice, preservative, plasticiser and adhesive, also used in pharmaceutical industry.
4). Lactic acid is an important acidifier, with a specific astringent sour taste. Can be used in all kinds of food, according to the production needs of the appropriate amount of use. It also has strong bactericidal effect and can prevent the growth of stray bacteria.
Storage
1). Packed in wooden case with 20kg glass bottle jacket or sealed in plastic drum.
2). Store in clean and dry place.
3). Small package for medicine is 500g in reagent bottle.
4). Edible lactic acid is packed in plastic drums, net weight 25kg per drum.
5). Take care to keep it sealed.
6). Store and transport according to general chemical regulations.
Stability
1). CHEMISTRY: Lactic acid has hydroxyl and carbonyl groups and when heated produces a linear polyester as does propyl lactide. The initial esterification product is lactyl lactic acid, with increasing concentration to produce polylactic acid.
2). It is non-toxic in pure form. Its salts are also non-toxic as long as they are not heavy metal salts.
3). Exists in tobacco leaves, smoke.
4). Naturally present in cooked beef, cocoa, wheat bread.
5). Also found in muscles, especially after intense muscle activity where the level of lactic acid increases, hence the feeling of muscle swelling.
