Application
1). Natural pentyl butyrate has a rich fruity aroma and is an important component of food flavorings. It is widely used in candies, pastries, beverages, dairy products, and baked goods to enhance the natural fruity flavor of the product.
2). Due to its pleasant fruity aroma, natural pentyl butyrate is used in perfumes, aromatherapy products, and shower gels as a fragrance enhancer or fixative, creating a fresh and natural aromatic experience.
3). In industrial applications, pentyl butyrate can be used as a solvent for coatings, paints, and inks, aiding in the dissolution of resins and improving film-forming properties.

Storage
Store in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight and high temperatures (warehouse temperature should not exceed 37°C). Due to its flash point of 57°C, it is classified as a flammable liquid and must be kept away from sources of fire, heat, and strong oxidizing agents to prevent fires or explosions.
Stability
1). At room temperature (25°C) and under neutral conditions, natural pentyl butyrate is stable and does not easily decompose.
2). Acidic conditions: It undergoes reversible hydrolysis to form butyric acid and pentanol, with a relatively slow reaction rate, requiring high temperatures or a catalyst to accelerate the process.
3). Alkaline conditions: It undergoes irreversible hydrolysis to form butyrate salts and pentanol, with a complete and rapid reaction, so contact with strong alkalis should be avoided.
