Application
1). Flavor enhancers: with natural fruit flavors such as coconut, peach, almond, etc., commonly used to blend flavors for baked goods, candies, ice cream, beverages and more.
2). Natural Equivalent Flavor: Meets the standard of food additives and can be safely used in the food industry.
3). As a flavor component added to perfume, skin care products, giving products a fresh fruit flavor.
4). May be used as drug intermediates or organic synthesis raw materials for the synthesis of other compounds.
Storage
1). Protected from light and sealed: it should be stored in brown glass bottles or lightproof containers to prevent decomposition triggered by light.
2). Cool and dry: the storage temperature is recommended to be lower than 25℃, avoid high temperature to accelerate oxidation or hydrolysis.
3). Keep away from acid and alkali environment: avoid contact with strong acid and alkali to prevent hydrolysis of lactone ring.
4). Moisture-proof: Keep the container sealed to prevent moisture absorption leading to quality degradation.
Stability
1). It is stable under neutral or weak acidic condition, but easy to hydrolyze to generate hydroxy acid when encountering strong alkali.
2). High temperature (such as more than 100 ℃) or long-term exposure to light will lead to decomposition, affecting the aroma and purity.
3). When stored according to specifications, the shelf life is usually 1-2 years, and should be used and resealed as soon as possible after opening.
