Application
1). As the raw material of daily chemical flavor, it is widely used in perfume, cologne, cosmetics (such as lotion, shampoo), toiletries and home fragrance (such as air freshener, detergent).
2). Give the product a unique aroma characteristics, such as fresh herbaceous incense, wood, oceanic tone or amber sense, to enhance the aroma of the layering and persistence.
3). Often compounded with floral (e.g. rose, jasmine), aldehydic or oriental flavors to enhance the diffusion and stability of the formulation.
4). Part of the special industry can be used as synthetic intermediates for the preparation of other fine chemicals.
Storage
1). Sealed storage away from light: store in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, away from open fire and high temperature (recommended storage temperature ≤30℃).
2). Moisture and pollution prevention: the container needs to be strictly sealed to avoid contact with air, moisture or corrosive substances.
3). It is recommended to use glass containers or metal / plastic containers lined with inert materials to avoid direct contact with strong oxidizers, strong acids and strong bases.
4). It should be isolated from food, medicine and oxidizer partition when stored to prevent cross contamination.
Stability
1). Under normal temperature and pressure and recommended storage conditions, the product is stable and not easy to decompose or deteriorate.
2). Avoid long-term exposure to strong light, high temperature or high humidity to prevent hydrolysis or oxidation of the ester structure, resulting in aroma deterioration.
3). It should be kept away from strong oxidizing agents, strong acids and strong bases, otherwise chemical reactions may occur, affecting product quality.
4). No special circumstances, good compatibility with common flavor raw materials (such as alcohols, aldehydes, ketones), but it is recommended to carry out compatibility testing before compounding.
5). The shelf life of the unopened product is usually 2-3 years under the conforming storage conditions (subject to the supplier's labeling).
6). It should be used as soon as possible after opening, and the remaining products should be sealed in time to avoid frequent contact with air.
