Application

3). Drug synthesis: as an intermediate in drug synthesis, it is involved in the synthesis of some compounds with specific biological activity, for example, apple ester may be used in the synthesis of some drugs with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and other pharmacological effects.
4). Storage
1). Storage condition: It should be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat sources, the temperature of the warehouse should not exceed 30℃ and the relative humidity should not exceed 70%.
2). Packing requirement: Usually packed in sealed galvanized iron drum or plastic drum, the net weight of each drum is 200kg or customized according to customer's requirement. Ensure that the package is complete, no leakage, and prevent the product from contacting with air and moisture and deteriorating. At the same time, the package should be labeled with product name, specifications, production date, shelf life and other information.
Stability
1). Acidity and alkalinity effect: It is relatively stable under neutral and weakly acidic conditions, but in strongly acidic or alkaline environments, malt ester may undergo hydrolysis reaction, leading to the destruction of the molecular structure and the loss of its original properties and functions.
2). Oxidative stability: under normal temperature, malt ester has certain antioxidant property, but under high temperature, high humidity or contact with strong oxidant, oxidation reaction is easy to occur, which may make the product darken in color, change the smell and affect its quality.
3). Thermal stability: thermal stability is good under normal storage temperature, but when the temperature exceeds its decomposition temperature, malt ester will gradually decompose, generally speaking, its decomposition temperature is relatively high, but the decomposition speed will be obviously accelerated when it is close to or exceeds 200℃.
4). Short-term storage: under the condition of storage, when stored for a short period of time (3-6 months), malt ester can maintain good stability, and there will be no obvious change in quality and performance.
5). Long-term storage: when stored for a long time, with the prolongation of time, it may be affected by trace moisture, air and other factors, resulting in the slow occurrence of hydrolysis or oxidation and other reactions of the product, which will make the product's purity and aroma and other indexes decrease, and it is generally recommended that the storage period should not be more than 1 year.
