Application

Storage
1). Storage condition: It should be stored in a cool and ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat source, and the temperature of the warehouse should not exceed 30℃.
2). Packing requirement: usually use sealed iron drum or plastic drum to ensure the package is intact and prevent leakage. For small amount of n-octadecane, sealed glass bottle can also be used.
3). Storage precautions: n-Octadecane should be stored separately from oxidizers, acids, alkalis, etc., and should not be mixed. The storage area should be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and suitable shelter materials. When handling, it should be loaded and unloaded lightly to prevent damage to the package and container.
Stability
1). Chemical stability: n-Octadecane has good chemical stability at room temperature and pressure and under general environmental conditions. It is a saturated hydrocarbon, not easy to react with most common chemical substances, and has good resistance to acid, alkali and water. However, under the condition of high temperature, high pressure, strong oxidizing agent or catalyst presence, chemical reaction may occur, such as oxidation reaction, cracking reaction and so on.
2). STORAGE STABILITY: n-Octadecane can maintain good stability under suitable storage conditions. However, improper storage, such as exposure to high temperature and humidity, or long-term contact with air, may lead to its slow oxidation and affect its quality. In addition, when stored for a long period of time, care should be taken to avoid contact with substances that may cause reactions in order to prevent changes in its chemical properties.
