Application
1). Solvents and fragrances: Ethyl acetyl propionate can be used as a solvent, fragrance, oil additive and plasticizer. It has good reactivity and is capable of a wide range of reactions such as reduction, hydrolysis, condensation and affinity addition. In addition, Ethyl Acetylpropionate has been specified as a permitted food flavor.
2). Fuel Additive: As a new type of liquid fuel additive, Ethyl Acetyl Propionate can improve the combustion efficiency of diesel fuel, make it burn cleaner, better lubrication, and effectively reduce the sulfur content.
3). Organic synthesis: Ethyl acetyl propionate is often used as an intermediate in organic synthesis, especially in the process of synthesizing β-diketones.
